The National Constitution Center

Brinjac provided multi-discipline engineering design services for the construction of The National Constitution Center, the first-ever museum honoring and explaining the Constitution. The facility includes 285,000 SF of museum space, subterranean parking, and bus loading, as well as a 10,000 Sf National Park Service Maintenance Facility in Philadelphia's Downtown. Design services include mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, as well as fire protection and telecommunications systems throughout the facility which houses exhibit spaces, a visitor's service area, retail spaces, restaurant and kitchen facility, an educational resource center, media production facilities, and administrative offices.

The museum is located on Independence Mall, and joins two of the nation's greatest symbols of freedom: Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. It features lively, interactive exhibits and activities designed to portray the exceptional experience of America's past, present and future constitutional democracy.

The telecommunications system design included a thoroughly interactive web site and comprehensive presence through the Internet, programming for school children and television and radio systems.
