Brinjac Engineering designs EMS Systems Upgrades in 3 School...

Through our open-end contract with Montgomery County Public Schools, Brinjac recently designed energy management systems (EMS) upgrades for Arcola Elementary School, Earle B. Wood Middle School, and John F. Kennedy High School in Montgomery County, Maryland.

For each project, the school remains open while the EMS is installed. Brinjac visits the site during the installation to monitor the progress and provide engineering assistance. Once installation is complete, Brinjac thoroughly reviews a set of building trends and conducts site visits for performance verification of the newly upgraded EMS in both the winter and summer modes.

While designing the EMS Systems for these schools, Brinjac was also actively commissioning 21 schools. Brinjac has been providing EMS and commissioning services to Montgomery County Public Schools since 1987, and has worked in over 120 schools.
