Metro Bank Park

Harrisburg, PA

Brinjac Engineering provided full M/E/P, structural and civil/site design for a $45 million makeover of Metro Bank Park, a city-owned minor-league baseball stadium in Harrisburg, PA. The stadium will include a new administrative building, home and visitor lockers, concourse, concessions, rest rooms, suites, and Club Lounge facility. Structural services include the design of caisson and foundations, concourse support, and structural steel support for buildings. Foundations below flood level are designed to withstand a 100-year flood. MEP design includes new heating and cooling systems, new electrical power, telephone, and cable television. The building is fully sprinkled with a combination wet-dry pipe sprinkler system.

The civil/site design includes all permitting, including application for joint permit through the Department of Environmental Protection for a facility located within the flood plain. New routing of storm and sanitary sewer system to existing mains was also included in the design.
