	Red Rose Transit Authority Transfer Station

	BRINJAC ENGINEERING, Inc. (BRINJAC) provided landscape architectural and civil engineering design services associated with the construction of a downtown bus terminal for the City of Lancaster. The project site is located along East Chestnut Street from Christian Alley to North Queen Street and encompasses three-quarters (3/4) of the block to East Walnut Street. The proposed terminal/transfer facility will accommodate between nine (9) and twelve (12) bus berths around a central pedestrian island. Also proposed are inside and outside waiting areas, information kiosks and site furnishings to be located in an urban park setting. Surrounding land use is comprised of small retail shops, a theater, a hotel, the City's public safety building and a large parking area.
