Study Published in Journal American Water Works Association

Harrisburg, PA -- Brinjac environmental engineer You Mark Zhou has contributed to an article published in the December 2006 issue of the national peer-reviewed magazine Journal American Water Works Association. The article, entitled Evaluation of Arsenic Field Test Kits for Drinking Water Analysis, describes Zhou and his peers research evaluating seven commercially available field test kits to determine their reliability and applicability to water utilities.

Mr. Zhou collaborated on the study and article with J. Mitchell Spear, a research associate at the US EPA Small Public Water System Technology Assistance Center and Professors Charles A. Cole and Yuefeng F. Xie of Pennsylvania State University, Harrisburg campus. For a summary, visit the AWWA site.
