BRINJAC ENGINEERING SENIOR SECURITY DESIGNER RECEIVES VALUABLE HARDWARE CERTIFICATION

(Harrisburg, PA) - Brett Stafford, Brinjac Engineering's Senior Security Designer, recently passed the Door and Hardware Institute's (DHI) Hardware Certification Exam to become an Apprentice Hardware Consultant, a mark of excellence throughout the industry. By successfully completing a thorough examination and meeting required prerequisites, Mr. Stafford demonstrates the skills and competencies to compete successfully in the field of architectural hardware.

DHI, the focal point for a team of more than 2,200 professional consultants, offers Apprentice Hardware Consultant certification to professionals prepared to provide sound architectural door and hardware specification advice and counsel to architects, contractors and building owners.

"Brett's Apprentice Hardware Consultant certification will greatly enhance our design efforts for security access control systems and provide for increased coordination with our architectural partners on projects."

With 22 years of electrical construction experience, Mr. Stafford is responsible for coordinating with architects to ensure that the selected hardware will properly interface with security system designs. In addition, Mr. Stafford specifies and schedules the hardware, in cooperation with owners, taking into account their particular access and esthetic requirements.

A Senior Security Designer for Brinjac Engineering for the past two years, Mr. Stafford has been involved with various projects including the Capitol Complex, Harrisburg School District, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Dauphin Manor, West Chester University, Hanover Public Library and Good Samaritan Hospital.

The Door and Hardware Institute (DHI) represents the architectural openings industry. With ancestry dating back to 1934, the Institute has more than 5,000 members in the United States, Canada and abroad.
