Life Safety System Retrofit for
House of Representatives Chamber
A complex system of scaffolding was installed to allow easy access to both the ceiling and the chandeliers. To keep debris out of the rest of the Chamber, the platform of the scaffolding was covered with a roofing membrane. In addition, a temporary HVAC system was installed which exhausted air above the platform and maintained environmental conditions above and below the platform.
