BRINJAC ENGINEERING, Inc. was responsible for the complete planning and design of structured cabling system (Cat.5e) for all seven existing campus buildings. Complete surveys were conducted during the planning phase to as-build the existing conditions. The design included:
- Outside plant fiber and copper
- Telecom closet selection and layout
- MDF selection and layout
- Fiber and copper backbone and risers
- Telecom grounding system
- Gigabit Ethernet data network
- Campus Area Network
- Cable pathways
- Mechanical (cooling) / electrical / fire suppression for telecom closets
BRINJAC provided complete services, including contract administration, construction phase services (punch lists, meeting attendance, RFI’s), telecom bidder qualifications, bid evaluation, front-end contract, and complete as-builts in AutoCad format. |
