Antrim Township
BRINJAC ENGINEERING, Inc. (BRINJAC), as Antrim Township's retainer engineer, was responsible for the review of plans and specifications for an upgrade of the Antrim Township Municipal Authority wastewater treatment facility which were prepared by another engineering firm. Subsequent to the design review phase, BRINJAC was assigned the task of redesigning the facility in just two (2) months.

This task was performed in an expedited manner as a result of a mandate by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The facility was subsequently bid and the resulting bids came in approximately $700,000 below original estimates. The dual-train, SBR treatment facility also contains an innovative ultraviolet wastewater disinfection system.

This project received an Honor Award for Engineering Excellence presented by the Consulting Engineers Council of Pennsylvania
Bids for this expedited project were $700,000 less than the original estimate.
