Montoursville Regional Sewer System
BRINJAC ENGINEERING, Inc. (BRINJAC) provided complete design and resident construction management services for 1.5 MGD wastewater treatment plant and more than 30 miles of sanitary sewer for the Lycoming County Water and Sewer Authority (LCWSA). BRINJAC provided an on-site Professional Engineer during all project construction phases.

The treatment facility uses SBR technology and is equipped with dual basis, two (2) aerobic digesters, a screening building, and chlorine contact tank post aeration with discharge to the Susquehanna River. A control building was constructed which houses administrative offices, a conference room laboratory, a blower room, a maintenance area, chlorine storage, and feed facilities.

The conveyance system included three (3) submersible pump stations, one (1) large submersible pump station and one (1) suction lift pump station, in addition to 111,000 linear feet of sanirary sewer serving more than 2,100 homes and businesses.
